I find nothing more comforting than watching a fantastic film in theatres, surrounded by like-minded individuals, our eyes glued to the screen. This experience watching Parasite in 2019 changed my sixteen-year-old brain’s chemistry; it evokes a truly profound sensation. Most significantly, great filmmaking informs my identity, much like I Saw the TV Glow did in 2024, and, as I continue to eagerly delve into the past, present and future (with award predictions!) of cinema, I forever anticipate the next remarkable vision that shifts my understanding of both film as a medium and myself.
